The Residência das Palmeiras has three types of accommodations: single suite, suite with private kitchen and apartments full furnished. Wi-fi around the house. Welcome to Residência das Palmeiras! If you are going to stay with us, please check some tips below for your best stay at home and in our city.

You need to bring pillow, sheet and towel (you can also buy it at supermarkets near to the house). We have complete kitchens in our estabilishmets, but the meal is due to the guest. Our power grid is 220V. Currency – R$ - Brazilian Real.

Transport

The city has a fleet of approximately 4.600 buses, divided into 18 companies that carry 1.7 million people every day and Subway Recife (Metrorec), which carries 205,000 passengers per day. Bus fares range between R$2,45 and R$3,35 for the joint service and Monday to Saturday, and between R$2,50 and R$3,75 for optional services. On Sundays, the common price is half the normal rate. The subway fare is only R$2,50. Recife also has 429 special buses, fitted with elevators in the main door for easy access for wheelchair users.
Recently, the city received a new computerized system in its bus terminal Caxangá Avenue. The experimental system consists of installing trackers on the buses, that through constant communication with the terminal to let passengers know the exact time of arrival of vehicles. Data are shown in LCD screens located at locations that allow good visibility.
Due to heating of the Brazilian economy, the city has suffered a sharp increase in the number of cars in circulation, which have caused problems for the residents to park. According to the report of the DMV-PE March 2010, the Grande Recife has a fleet of 867,000 vehicles. Of these, 43% is the RMR emplacados in cities, but around the city.

Tourist Points

The Reef attracts tourists from around the world. Prominent among the reasons for this attraction cultural events such as Carnival and St. John Recife is the gateway to the coast of Pernambuco from where tourists arriving by plane.

Get off at bus stop in front of Sudene and enter the first street on the right. The 50m is the home of the student Residência das Palmeiras.

BUS STATION
Take the bus Caxangá / Curado II the road. Then check with the driver / conductor to rest nearer the Sudene. Follow the sidewalk towards the Sudene Caxangá Avenue and turn right after the first Sudene. The 50m is the home of the student Residência das Palmeiras.
